How Does It Work?

You've probably wondered how AntiRebate works. We work with approximately 200 companies, large and small, ranging from Dell Computers to Sears, Circuit City to Lane Bryant, Office Depot to American Express, and everything in between. The Research Monkeys that work at AntiRebate search the products from these companies everyday to find the best deals for you!

You might consider AntiRebate as one of the top salespersons for some of the companies that we do business with. As a top salesperson, sometimes we can get better prices than if you go directly to the merchant's website. For example, let's say you are looking to buy a Brand-Name Laptop. If you go directly to Brand-Name Computer's web site, they would gladly sell that laptop to you for $900. If you come to AntiRebate first, and click on our link to Brand-Name Computer, the price for the exact same laptop is $700.

This type of arrangement makes everyone happy.
  • You the customer is happy because you can save $200 on a brand new laptop.
  • The merchant, Brand-Name Computers, is happy because they are able to sell many more products to the customers that AntiRebate brings to them.
  • All of the Research Monkeys at AntiRebate are happy because they are getting a paycheck from the small commission from every sale. A lot of small commissions do add up to one big paycheck! Every penny counts. And yes, we do count pennies. :)

Contrary to popular belief, we do not get paid for clicks. We only get commission from sales of products. You can click all you want and we don't get 1 penny until you buy something.

In order to keep AntiRebate online and our Research Monkeys fed and busy looking for more great deals for you, click the links on our site when you want to buy something. Please don't go out of your way to type in a web address. Why would you want to go through the trouble of typing in a web address and then searching for the product? Just click the link that we provide and you'll be taken directly to the product that you're looking for. If you buy the product, we'll get a commission and everyone wins.

Wait! Why did we tell you to click our links when we just told you we don't get paid for clicks? By clicking on our links, that is how the stores will know that you were referred by AntiRebate. Otherwise, if you buy something and they don't know that you came from AntiRebate, we don't get a commission. It works just like a store that has commissioned salespeople. If you purchase an item with the salesperson, she earns a commission. If you bypass the salesperson and take the item directly to the cashier, nobody earns a commission.

Here are some tips on getting the products that you see offered on AntiRebate.

  • If you see something that you want, get it fast! Some items have very limited supplies. One example was right before Christmas 2006, The TMX Elmo. It was the hottest selling toy that no one had. People who did have one were selling it for $200+ on eBay. We found a source that had a short supply of them at the retail price of $39.99. We posted the offer at 4:00 AM in the morning. They were sold out by 7:00 AM. We congratulate the parents who were able to get the TMX Elmo for their child.

  • Other items may have a large supply, but the offer may be time-limited. For example, Dell and Best Buy on occasion will have laptop computers and LCD monitors at deep discounts. Some of the sale events only last one or two days. If you miss the sale, the prices are usually much higher after the sale.

  • Use coupon codes when we provide them. Make sure to enter them exactly as shown. Upper case and lower case codes do make a difference. MyCoupon and mycoupon are not the same. Be certain not to add any extra spaces in front or behind the coupon code.

  • Certain offers are only activated by clicking through a link that we provide. For example, there are some coupons that do not require a code. When you click through our link, the coupon is activated automatically. Anything you buy from that point on will have the coupon applied to it.

  • AntiRebate deems information reliable but not guaranteed. Offers are subject to change at any time without notice.
